We believe many of our society’s goals can be attained by living in harmony with our immediate surrounds as often as possible. Which means the work of growing our own food, making our own clothing or buying reused, biking when possible, limiting car trips as much as we can, practising trade and barter within our local communities, teaching our children to value these things (which may or may not include homeschooling them), and spreading the message that we really do only have one planet, it is in peril, and it is our responsibility to do what we can to minimize our impact and encourage others to do the same.

Here at Truth, Peace, Love, we do not talk about working tirelessly within the political sphere for change because there are other people who are called to that work ~ our work is within the home and community, in essence, being a support system for those more obviously involved in the revolution. If you feel that is your mission as well, you’re in the right place.

Truth, Peace, Love aims to further the revolution that has already begun by promoting a simpler way of life, which includes these values:

Truth – live your truest, best self, always. Speak the truth with love, and honor yourself and others by refusing to lie. “All wrong-doing arises because of mind. If mind is transformed can wrong-doing remain?” If you transform your mind to only think truthful, good things you will be more likely to speak those things. “Out of the mind and heart, the mouth speaks.”

Peace- “Before enlightenment, chop wood, carry water. After enlightenment, chop wood, carry water.” Simple daily tasks often allow room for those epiphanic moments that change our life and let in peace and joy. Peace comes from the Creator within us, and by exemplifying peace to others, we spread it!

Love – “If we could see the miracle of a single flower clearly, our whole life would change.” Everything is a miracle, and we should treat life as such. Show love to everyone and everything. This life-time is too short and the best thing we can do while here is to be loving to one another and to our Earth. The Divine Creative Being desires us to show healthy love to others and to accept healthy love. The Divine Being is supportive and wants you to feel more peace and love, and will always be there when you ask.
